Ante: All players put in an initial bet, known as the “ante.”

Third Street: Each player is dealt three cards, two hidden hole cards and one face up. The player with the lowest face-up card starts the betting with a small “bring-in” bet or a full small bet.

Fourth Street: Another card is dealt face up to each player. The player with the highest poker value of the face-up cards starts the betting.

Fifth Street: A fifth card is dealt face up followed by a round of betting. From this point, the betting limits typically double.

Sixth Street: Each player receives another face-up card and another round of betting follows.

Seventh Street (or the River): The final card is dealt face down. Players now have three hidden cards and four showing. The player with the best showing hand begins the final round of betting.

Showdown: If there are multiple players remaining after the last betting round, a showdown occurs. Players reveal their hands, and the best five-card poker hand wins the pot.
