Position Summary:
Under direct supervision of the Poker Assistant Shift Manager, monitors Gaming Tables, Poker Dealers, Chip Runner/Hosts and all non-department personnel coming in contact with the gaming tables on assigned shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensures compliance with all Florida Gaming Statutes, including Internal Controls (ICs).
- Proactively ensures guests are having a positive gaming experience and that their needs are being met.
- Observes games in progress for possible irregularities in player/dealer conduct.
- Ensures cardroom procedures are being adhered to.
- Ensures the integrity of all games.
- Ensures safeguarding of all OcalaBetS assets.
- Evaluates front-line poker team to increase skill level.
- Completes required administrative paperwork.
- Contributes to a team effort and accomplishes related results as required.
- Performs other duties as required.
Qualifications and Skills:
- A minimum of three years of poker and Vegas Style Table Games experience is required.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of one year previous Supervising experience preferred.
- Knowledge of poker rules and etiquette.
- Knowledge of dealing Vegas-Style Card games.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with diverse groups.
- Strong math skills, cash handling and chip handling experience.
- Extensive Knowledge and practice of all Title 31 requirements.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license.
Working Conditions:
While performing the duties of this job, the team member regularly is required to sit; use hands to handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The team member frequently is required to walk. The team member occasionally is required to stand; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The team member must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
